About R-APDRP

Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (R-APDRP) was launched by Ministry of Power, Government of India, with the aim of restoring the commercial viability of the power distribution sector by putting in place appropriate mechanism so as to substantially reduce the Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) losses. Projects under the scheme shall be taken up in two parts. Part-A shall include the projects for establishment of baseline data and IT applications for energy accounting/auditing & IT based consumer service centre. Part-B shall include regular distribution strengthening projects and will cover system improvement, strengthening and augmentation etc. Understanding the key role of geospatial technologies, the Union Ministry of Power (MoP) has made use of GIS mandatory in the National Electricity Policy and Integrated Energy Policy.

CyberSWIFT in R-APDRP

Being a core GIS company with complete range of geospatial solutions, we took the challenge to execute the GIS survey, mapping and implementation work under Part-A of R-APDRP in different states.

  • Started our first R-APDRP GIS work in West Bengal and completed 51 towns work successfully up to approvals from utility
  • Presently continuing our R-APDRP success in North-East in 42 towns of Assam and all towns of Mizoram under R-APDRP

Experience in terms of Quantity

As of now, we have an experience of executing R-APDRP GIS work in around 150 Towns out of 1400 eligible R-APDRP towns in entire India. The executed R-APDRP volumetric mainly includes Base Map development of around 3,500 Sq. km. area, more than 25, 000 Ckt. Km of network mapping with asset painting and Consumer Indexing of more than 18 Lakhs of Urban Electricity consumers in multiple status of India.

Presently, we have a dedicated and experienced team of more than 450 employees including a project management team of more than 10 people, 25+ GIS professionals, 40+ Electrical Engineers, 30+ Qualified Field Supervisors, 35+ skilled DGPS surveyors and more than 300 contractual semi skilled surveyors.

All the individual employees are well trained and equipped with infrastructure to execute their specified role as per the project implementation methodology adhering to all R-APDRP specifications and guidelines.
