What we do for whom

Here is a small list of our works with clients

  • Indian Army, Eastern Command

The project was to scan about 80 Toposheets (15’ * 15 ‘). These sheets were mosaicked and merged into a single raster by rubber-sheeting and edge matching. Infrastructural features and certain physical features and land-cover features were digitized. Several map of size, 9 feet * 9 feet flex printouts of the entire raster were the final deliverables.

  • West Bengal State Electricity Board

WBSEB has initiated the project of Power GIS under the APDRP (Accelerated Power Development and Reform Program) consisting of GIS mapping of electrical supply units in the state of West Bengal. The objective is to use GIS in the management of Electricity Distribution Facilities. The project involved mapping of electrical entities, location of consumer data, identification of unauthorized connections in the distribution zone and the identification of anomaly between actual power consumed and billing received against each electrical entity to detect power theft.

  • Damodar Valley Corporation (D.V.C.)

The project involves a GIS-GPS based corridor survey for the stretch Mejia to Barjora along with detailed survey of Barjora Sub-station / Industrial area. The scope of work involves survey of proposed route alignment, overlaying the route alignment on the developed GIS map, accurate location of towers on the map and linking profile diagrams to the towers on the GIS map.

  • Indian Oil Corporation Limited

Developing a GIS based system by incorporating geographical database with real pipeline data consisting of cadastral map, ROW details, rail/road/river crossings, TLP points, CP locations, valve locations, etc with facility of user friendly retrieval of information.

  • Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency

The project involves putting surveyed data regarding Solar home and Street Lights installed in selected villages of Jharkhand under the Remote Village Electrification Programme, on the web in a digital format on a reference map of Jharkhand. The system would have facilities like zoom in/zoom out, buffering, information on click, queries, search facilities, measurement facilities, etc.

Next, the cadastral sheets of the forest villages were to be registered in reference to the toposheets and the village boundary and forest plots are to be vectorised. The vector layer had to be overlain on a LISS III FCC satellite imagery of the area and the density of forest in each plot had to be demarcated. Individual Village maps with the density demarcated had to be printed at 1:5000 scale.

  • Public Health Engineering, West Bengal – Arsenic mapping

The project scope consisted of earmarking all the villages that are affected by ground water arsenic contamination and demarcating the Ground water protection Scheme boundaries. Maps had to be annotated and designed with various themes and in different scales.

Contours at an interval of of 1 mtr. was generated on basis of the depth. Later the entire vector was overlain on a LISS III image that was geometrically corrected. The siltation area and water depth of the river was demarcated from the imagery.
